Everyone can enjoy one of the most family friendly and fun-packed roller discos in Sussex and on the South Coast with GYSO. So whether your an absolute beginner or pro skater, or maybe just looking for a different spin on a good family time come down to one of our venues, there is something for everyone at a GYSO roller disco.

Lessons - If you have never roller skated before or want a little help then come along to our skate classes with qualified instructors, these lessons held during the disco are an excellent training ground for the absolute beginners or people wanting to improve on their skills, the cost of this lesson also includes the beginners disco

Family Disco - Beginner disco with the best music and excellent atmosphere, speed limited and plenty of help and advice on hand if needed. Great mid session games for all abilities and fun & friendly skate guards make this an excellent family event for newcomers and beginners.
Mixed Disco - This event is for all abilities, a slightly faster pace, but still speed limited to allow a mixture of skaters to strut their stuff and enjoy the music and games on all levels. Family friendly, enjoyable atmosphere this is our most popular disco and make for a fun-filled evening.
Advanced Disco - Lights Low, all speeds go! This is an advanced skaters only disco, with some hard-core games, and varying skate directions, this is for the experienced skaters only, and not available at all venues. So if your a serious skater and looking for an action filled - loud music extreme skating night then look out for these sessions at some of our venues.

With GYSO you will always get the highest standards of Roller Disco. We are always looking for new venues that we will be able to use as a community focused Family roller disco. To the left are our current venues with information about the venue, the location and what session types we currently have running there. Venue - Warm Atmosphere, Very Large Hall, Bar/drinks area, Viewing Gallery. Family based, warm and welcoming, skate park on-site.

Here at G.Y.S.O. we always enjoy talking to our customers and hearing their comments on our Roller Discos - but it's not always possible to speak to everyone. So we'd like to ask you to take 5 mins to help us improve and continue our high standards of Roller Discos, by filling out this Customer Feedback form. Every Month we will randomly pick a questionnaire and the lucky winner will receive a free entry to one of our Discos. All cards are issued subject to these Terms and Conditions, any queries should be made in writing via our contact sheet.
Stamps will be issued to each customer when paying in full for an entry to a single disco per venue per day, for 2 session discos only one stamp will be issued.
The Loyalty card remains the property of G.Y.S.O. Discos Ltd, and will be returned upon request.
No stamp will be issued without card and card owner present at the time entry is purchased.
No replacements will be made for lost or stolen cards - customers take full responsibility for the safekeeping of their loyalty card.
Copied, de-faced, damaged or illegible cards will not be accepted, and will be disposed of by a representative of G.Y.S.O. Discos Ltd
Vouchers and Draw entries will only be issued upon completion of details on the reverse of your loyalty card.
Vouchers and Draw entries will be presented to the customer on the day that the stamp for that prize is given.
Entry discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount we provide - and neither will be counted as another stamp in the card when used.
G.Y.S.O. Discos Ltd or it's partners have the right to stop this promotion at any time, and without warning.
The promotion will end 3rd October 2011 - all vouchers must be used within the timeframe stated on them.
Loyalty Cards, and the vouchers/draw entries have no cash value, and no prize alternatives will be offered
The Grand Prize Draw will take place on 30th September 2011.

Integrated Birthday Parties
This birthday party option is available at one of our weekly venues. This is an ideal way for the kids to host their own Roller Party whilst still enjoying the atmosphere created at our busy family events. Due to the popularity of some of our events, early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
The package includes:
•Pre-booked skates, pads and equipment
•GYSO personalised Invites, (so we know the boot sizes!)
•Early Fast-track entry
•Party host/s to assist with fitting of skates/pads etc
•Private food area option*
•Personal GYSO gift for the Birthday boy/girl *(optional)
Private Party package
GYSO now offer the opportunity for you to have your very own roller disco in one of our recognised venues. Dependant on venue capacity, we can cater for up to 250 skaters per event. All of our private events are tailored to our clients' specific needs. Timings, format, even the type of music and games can all be agreed prior to your event to ensure your party is a memorable one!!
We provide:
•Full skate, pad, wrist guard provision.
•DJ, sound-system and lighting.
•Staff to assist with the fitting of equipment and skate marshals to help you get the most from your skate party!
•Organised games with prizes suitable to your party age-group.
Personalised gift for the party person and guests (*optional)
We can also provide glow sticks / bracelets / necklaces, to help create the theatre of the event.
Schools & Clubs
What We Provide
Venue Risk Assessment
Prior to arranging any public or private event, GYSO will carry out an inspection of the venue and assess its suitability and safety. If it is deemed to be unsuitable or safety concerns cannot be addressed an alternative venue would be sought.
Full Equipment Provision
We not only provide quad skates, fully tested, but also safety equipment including wrist guards, knee and elbow pads. Whilst not compulsory, we do recommend that inexperienced skaters wear wrist guards as a minimum requirement.
DJ and Lighting
We provide our own sound and lighting equipment, all regularly PAT tested and checked.
Staff
We have a large pool of experienced, CRB& First Aid trained staff.
Skate Marshals
We have on hand skate teachers if necessary but this is not essential to an event, we also have competent skaters on hand to give guidance and direction so that participants can enjoy the skating experience safely. Many of our staff have skated for over 15 - 20 years and several of our younger marshals are competitive street and inline skaters.
Frequently Asked Questions
What ages is it suitable for?
Our skates range from a junior size 8 to adult size 13 and our pads are designed to cover those size ranges. Our youngest skaters have been 5 years old and the grandparents can regularly be seen skating at our public events.
Won't the skates damage our flooring?
No. We use soft, non-marking urethane wheels which NEVER get used outside or on unsuitable surfaces. These skates are regularly checked for damage. Prior to all events at new venues, suitability of the flooring and surrounding areas are checked as part of the Risk Assessment procedure.
Are GYSO Disco Insured?
Yes. We have full public and property liability insurance underwritten. Certificate available upon request.
Are your staff experienced?
Yes. All of our adult staff are fully CRB checked. The majority of them are also First Aid trained and certificated . Our marshals are all experienced skaters, many of whom have skated for over 20 years.
